Travellers looking for something different are in for a real treat, as they venture into the heartland of South Africa. This journey offers a variety of unique experiences, from the mode of travel (air, water, large mammal, land vehicle, foot) to the terrain and environments that surround each property. Three nights in Eastern Cape Big 5 Country

We fly you from either Plettenberg Bay or Port Elizabeth to Addo Elephant Back Safaris & Lodge, your home for the next two nights. Here you will be able to enjoy a number of exciting activities such as riding our elephants, walking with them in the bush to observe them in their natural surroundings, and enjoy spoiling them with their favourite titbits. And if luck is on your side it they may well take an entertaining swim at their favourite waterhole.

The following day our ranger will take you on a game drive in Addo Elephant National Park, renowned for the best elephant sightings in Africa. On your return there is nothing more pleasing than relaxing in your outdoor spa bath on your private deck, at one with nature.

For the energetic we offer wonderful guided nature walks in our conservancy where you will encounter our rich multiplicity of birdlife, cross paths with numerous game species and their newborns, and take pleasure in the property's unique biodiversity.

After breakfast the following morning we transfer you to the award-winning Shamwari Game Reserve for one night to experience the most rewarding Big Five game drives the area has to offer.

Rates are quoted per person based on a minimum of two people travelling and include the return flights, transfers, full board, local beverages and the activities mentioned. This offer is valid from 01 May to 30 September 2009.
